Flying back to London

A very early morning, up at 2:30 AM. There were young people everywhere. We went out the door and a taxi pulled over. It was Refresher week according to the cab driver. We were originally going to take the bus in, but Gwyn asked him how much. 30 pounds so we took that instead. He dropped us off at the Hampton at the airport and we walked 5 minutes to the airport.
Got our boarding passes and went through security. We will find out our gate at 5:00 AM. It was not far. Waited a bit and boarded our plane heading to Heathrow in London. Landed at Terminal 5 at Heathrow. Waited for the Elizabeth Line to take us to Tottenham Court Rd. Exited and took a bus to the Bermonds Locke, Tower Bridge and dropped off our bags.
We headed to Spitalfields Market. I found the Spitafields Hatman and now have a new winter and summer hat. We next decided to head towards Harrods but came across Liberty. We went in and explored. I was getting tired. We left and there was a M&S Food Hall right nearby. After getting food we decided to have a taxi take us back. It was slow and expensive since the underground Tube strike is on.
We checked in at the Bermonds and settled in for the night.
